Birds on Velvet Wings
A baby birdswoops and dives
from morning to
night looking
for food.
The bird
came to a dark
forest where
owls hooted
and bugs
were busting through
the trees
and rustling through
the trees. Far
away owls
hooted with
dogs barking
from fence to
fence and then
they were quiet
as a dream.
