COMMUNITY GARDEN
In partnership with DUG (Denver Urban Gardens) Steele has reserved a space on the Northeast playground for neighborhood gardeners. Steele is proud to have had a working relationship with DUG since 1994. Current plans with DUG are for expansion of the Garden, and renewal of the North Playground area.
SENIOR VOLUNTEERS
Steele has a number of wonderful senior volunteers providing important links with young students. As part of Steele's family, they volunteer in many capacities with all age groups, and provide an important community connection for Steele students.
