Steele and Ellis Elementary Schools began a partnership last year to connect our community and support each other. The pandemic has created some immediate needs for our sister school. If you are in a position to help, we have tried to make it easy for you. We are collecting the specific items listed below. You can drop any of these items on the porch of Steele Parent Johanna Woodrow, 898 S Vine St, 80210 through Friday September 4. No amount is too small; together it will all add up!
- Food drive: All non perishables are fine but the most needed are: cereal/cereal bars, juice (large bottles or packs of juice boxes), canned fruits, canned veggies, canned beans, shelf-stable milk and chocolate milk, feminine products, corn meal and flour, cooking oil, paper products (toilet paper, paper towels), personal hygiene products (deodorant, tooth paste)
- Supply Drive: While the Ellis PTA focuses on hosting food banks, their students also need some school supplies. Use this link to see what supplies are still needed. We will update the list as we receive supplies. If you want to order through Amazon or other service, you can have the packages delivered to Ellis Elementary, c/o Andrea Randolph 1651 S. Dahlia St. 80222.
