Former Steele Student Wins Boettcher Award

The Boettcher Scholarship is a prestigious merit-based academic scholarship awarded to graduating Colorado high school students. Since 1937, The Boettcher Foundation’s mission has been to invest in the minds and mortar of Colorado. It awards full 4-year in-state scholarships to the state’s top high school seniors. Daniel Renkert of South High School (formerly Steele), has received the 2015 Boettcher Scholarship and plans to attend The Colorado School of Mines to study Computer Engineering. Congratulations Daniel, a job well done and truly deserved!
