From the Principal

Dear Steele Families,

With the change in time comes busy spring schedules for families. We know many of our students are involved in extracurricular activities that require practices in the evenings — which is fantastic! In the spring, however, it can seem as though school is competing with sports and other activities for time and attention. Thank you for continuing make school a priority.

Overall 58%
Kindergarten 42%
First Grade 57%
Second Grade 71%
Third Grade 68%
Fourth Grade 63%
Fifth Grade 48%

Mark your calendar for Coffee with the Principal on Friday, March 16 at 8:30 AM. We will meet in either the library or cafeteria. Please check in at the office, and Melissa or Yolanda will point you in the right direction. This is a great opportunity to meet with other parents and me in an informal setting.

Remember, our dates for Spring Break are: March 23-April 2. This means we have four days of learning this week before our students are off for Spring Break!

Thank you for your ongoing support for our staff, students, and school.
