From the Principal

Dear Steele families,

It was so great to see so many of you at our first PTA meeting this week! As I sat and listened to all that our PTA has done/is doing to support our school I felt overwhelmed with gratitude. Steele is very lucky to have such a strong, supportive partnership!

Parents of 4th and 5th graders, individual CMAS reports should be arriving early next week and will be sent home with students. If you have a child who was here last year and is in 6th grade now, you can stop by to office or give us a call to let us know the best way to get the report to you.

As many of you may have noticed, our fantastic art teacher, Emily Joy, is just about ready to go on maternity leave. We are very excited to announce that Miriam Ungar, our former art teacher, will be filling in during Emily Joy’s absence.

This week our 5th graders got a special visit from Ralph Sodano, our amazing rocketry teacher, to show them how to fold and hang the American Flag. Our 5th grade students take on this responsibility each year as part of their service to our school.

See you at the Bike-a-Thon/ Carnival this Sunday!
