From the Principal

Dear Steele families,

I hope you are able to enjoy some of this extended break. I know it’s been challenging for many families to work from home while also keeping your kids busy and engaged. Teachers are working hard this week to make sure they are prepared for remote learning which starts on April 7th. While many teachers have already been connecting with kids and uploading work, they are not actually required to do so until April 7th.

Teachers will send you a communication of what to expect during remote learning by Monday April 6th . While it will vary by grade level, much of the work will be self directed through Google Classroom or other apps.

Although we’ve been on an extended break, our teachers have been working hard. I am encouraging them to disconnect and relax during our normally scheduled spring break next week. Please keep in mind that in mind if they don’t get back to you right away.

Many of you have found amazing resources to keep kids engaged during this uncertain time. Here is another one: Rocky Mountain PBS has released their schedule of educational programs. If you’re looking for something over spring break check them out.

We miss you and hope to see you soon! Stay Healthy:)
