Steele’s tenth year helping the American Heart Association was an astounding success. We helped raise over $19,000 to benefit the AHA’s continuing cardiovascular research and education. Steele had 186 students join the team to raise awareness for heart disease and stroke. Violet Letendre (rm. 208) led the charge as the top fundraiser with $1025. This is Violet’s third awesome year as #1. Chester Monroe (rm. 102) and Quinn Lyons (rm. 107) raised $520 and $505 respectively, rounding out the top 3. Many other Stallions did amazing jobs raising significant amounts. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a banner year. The thank-you gifts and ducks have been ordered and I will distribute the gifts as soon as Steele receives them. (The AHA asks for 4-6 weeks to process and ship the order). Thanks again for supporting our event. You make the difference!
