Looking for an opportunity to teach your kids the value of giving back while also getting rid of excess Halloween candy? Wouldn’t it be great to give a sweet treat to our heroes serving overseas and those here at home? Kids Of Steele will be collecting extra Halloween candy and travel toothpaste/dental floss to benefit Operation Gratitude. Last Year Operation Gratitude collected more than 400,000 pounds of candy for US Troops, Veterans, and First Responders. A collection bin will be located outside of the auditorium from 10/29 – 11/5. Candy must be individually wrapped. Please contact Mary Beth Thacker or Christy Rimkus if you have any questions.
