Bob always wanted to go to the top of the Statue of Liberty and one summer he got his wish.

Bob was walking through New York City trying to find the boat that could take him to the Statue of Liberty.After about an hour he found the boat.When he got into it Bob realized how cramped it was.The tourists were practically all the same with their flowered shirts and long shorts.

“Wow.” thought Bob, ”I must have picked the latest fashion.”

They soon arrived and got off and started climbing to the top. Bob got so excited when the reached the top that he leaned too far out the window and fell! Luckily he caught himself on the Statue of Liberty’s nose.

“Somebody call the fire department!” said a lady.A few minutes later the fire department came and hoisted Bob up to safety.

“Well,” Bob said once he had been pulled up, “It was a really nice sight but I am never coming here again.”
