Once there was a young man who dreamed of fighting for his country. He followed his path and it led him to Iraq. He had no fear of what he was about to face.
His family worried, but trusted him. Once he was trained, the battle began. He fought for his life. He didn’t know if he would make it but he kept fighting. His wife knew within he was strong and loved.
One day his car was hit. He blacked out; he could feel the fire on him burning. He heard a voice beyond. Someone whom he did not know saved him.
He woke up seeing his wife crying beside his bed. He said “Shhhhh! It’s OK I’m alive.”
“I Love You. Don’t leave me,” Megan said.
His dad and mom said, “We love you Duncan.”
Megan said, in tears “We all love you” with her family behind her.
