TENNIS FOR KIDS is a non-profit program at Gates Tennis Center. Our program provides financial assistance to those in need to inspire juniors ages 5-18 to play the sport of tennis. Ask the front desk at the Gates Center for an application. Gates Tennis Center (located next to Cherry Creek Mall) has helped Steele introduce the great lifelong game of tennis to our 4th and 5th grade students. Gates volunteered Coach Clarence and Coach Maureen for nearly two weeks to practice tennis related skills alongside teaching etiquette. The students really enjoyed the activities and coaches and we are planning another session this coming fall. Gates Tennis Center offers camps and leagues. Please thank Gates if you play tennis there. Their instruction was terrific. If your child has never played but is interested or maybe caught the tennis bug here at Steele, please contact Gates Tennis for all of their summer and fall opportunities for youth tennis.
