There will be a few summer construction projects taking place at Steele this summer. Here they are, in order:
- Planetarium moving to 205. This should be completed in mid-July.
- New water pipes. This will provide cleaner, more pure water. This also means that the water will be turned off from Monday June 8th until mid-July. During this time, you may see the office staff and others going over to Starbucks more than usual – probably to use the bathroom! If you are in the Steele building, please don’t use the toilet; you won’t be able to flush it.
- Roof tiles replaced. This will take place in early June, and should be done by July. You will see scaffolding where they are working, and the area will be cordoned off. We had some tiles come off in the winter. It should look better than new.
