Our students have an extremely long holiday break this year. I know this is a great time to reconnect with your children and for them to explore their world. But it can also come with challenges. I urge you to have your children read every day for 20-30 minutes. This is the most important thing they can do in order to come back to school ready to learn. Plus, it’s a lot of fun — especially if you read the same book as them or read a book to them. (This can be great bonding and a fun way to let your children explore stories that they can’t quite yet read.) I also want to share the Denver Tour Club resource with you. The DTC does enrichment field trips every day over winter break. For their flyer, click here.
