Hi everyone, my name is Lexi Higgins! I have been teaching in DPS for 5 years now, and I am so excited to be joining the Steele community! I graduated with my teaching degree from the University of Colorado, Denver and received my masters from there as well in Culturally Linguistic Diverse Education. I have a passion for literacy, and I LOVE teaching kids how to read. I have lived all over the country, but have been in Denver for 12 years now. In my free time you can find me outdoors, on a run, or traveling! I can’t wait for a great school year!
