Born and raised in Maryland, my husband and I moved to Colorado with our daughters, now 8 & 6 in 2019. We live in the Whittier neighborhood and love exploring City Park on bikes. I enjoy hiking, reading, yoga, and playing trivia with friends. My daughters currently attend Columbine Elementary school. We recently adopted a 3 year old Great Dane, named Dobby.
My social work career started in outpatient mental health, where I worked with families, children and individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. I then moved to hospital social work in Baltimore, Maryland, and most recently was working as an Addiction Social Worker at UCHealth Anschutz. I am excited for the next chapter in my career and to get back to working with children and families. I hope to be able to equip students with the skills they need to thrive in their environment. I look forward to meeting the team at Steele and getting to know our students and families!
